Therapeutic Approach

No therapeutic journey is ever the same - some clients want to focus more on behavioural change while others look for deeper understanding and reflection. That's why my approach to therapy is integrative, so I can tailor it to the specific needs of each client. I combine elements from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based therapy (MBT). Together, we will explore your circumstances and focus on your needs and goals.

I strive to create a warm, inclusive, safe, and non-judgemental environment. Clients often share that they feel listened to and understood during our sessions.

Yet, therapy goes beyond validation. It requires curiosity and willingness to explore the parts of yourself that you might try to ignore or forget. There will also be moments you will feel confronted or uncomfortable as we move through the more challenging parts of our journey - but you will not go through them alone.

When seeking professional help, it is important that you find a therapist with whom you feel a “click" - someone you feel heard by and can imagine opening up to. This is why I offer a 30-minute introductory meeting, so we can find out if we are the right fit for each other.
